MANU


Visit the Manu National Park offers you the chance to see a variety of tropical fauna, explore on foot or by boat. You will sleep in the middle of the jungle so you can share the habitat of animals and nature sounds from early morning until night excursions. Our guide will explain the relationship between animals and plants in the environment, so that you will be impressed by the colorful and know great experiences and new knowledge about life in the jungle.

DESCRIPCION
Day 1: Rainforest Lodge

The first day of our adventure to the jungle of Manu, we will come to pick you up at your hotel at 5:00 am in our private transport, the first part of our trip starts through the majestic Andean mountains, after this tour we will visit the village Andean Huancarani, which contains the graves cemetery burial Ninamarca a Culture Pre - Inca culture called Lupacas , also stop at the folk village Paucartambo colonial site . At noon we arrive at the gates of Acjanaco, entrance to Manu National Park one of the most protected areas in South America, we will continue in our private transport down to the fabulous and mysterious cloud forest, where we will observe the Cock of the Rock, the national bird of Peru, you will appreciate the magnificent ritual of males at dusk, our first night spent at Rainforest Lodge near Pilcopata.

Day 2: Rainforest Lodge - Bonanza Ecological Reserve

Very early we will go to the port of Atalaya in the course, we will stop to visit local families who are producers of many varieties of fruits of the jungle, plantations of coca and many other crops. Then begin our journey by river boat Alto Madre de Dios, one of the most important tributaries of the Amazon River. Sail down river about 4 hours, we will have some short stops during this trip (hot water to enjoy the hot springs). During this day we will be able to observe many types of very colorful birds like parrots, orioles, vultures and others. We can appreciate different types of mammals such as monkeys, caimans and capybaras (the largest rodent in the world Amazon). In the afternoon we arrive at Bonanza Lodge where we spend the night. We will have the afternoon to explore the forest and then a night walk to observe different types of spiders, tarantulas, scorpions and snakes.

Day 3: Bonanza Ecological Reserve

Early in the morning we will have our jungle trek our way to enjoy the tranquility of the forest, we will explore walked up to a pristine place where we can see two types of forests as the primary and secondary with giant trees with a lot of vegetation during the course you can see different types of monkeys, forest birds, among which capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkey because this forest is home to more than 13 species of monkeys . We will have a typical lunch in the middle of the dense jungle. Our professional guide will explain the interrelationship of forest ecosystems and the life cycle between animal, plant and insect. This day will long birding and macaws, toucans, woodpeckers , orioles , eagles and among other birds. We return to Bonanza Lodge where we spend our last night.

Day 4: Bonanza Ecological Reserve - Cusco

The fourth day of our jungle adventure, we will leave early in the morning of Bonanza Lodge go to the port of Atalaya by boat where our private vehicle awaits us to take us to Cusco arriving in the evening at 7:30 PM.
